VAI
The palm-tree forest of Vai is one of the most popular attractions in Crete and, at the same time, one of the most beautiful and special areas in the whole of the Mediterranean.
ELAFONISI
Elafonisi is a small islet, 200 meters fom the shore with a shallow lagoon between them. The sand is white, but here and there it turns into a shade of pink, courtesy of the broken corrals it contains. The water is clear in a blue-green shade resembling an exotic paradise.
FALASSARNA
Falassarna is found at the western coast of Crete and have become one of the most famous destinations on the island, not only due to the beaches but also due to reasons of ecologic interest.
BALOS
The lagoon of Balos is found at the headland of Gramvoussa, at the most southern-western edge of Crete close to the city of Kissamos. The sea is warm with crystal clear water and extraordinary sand colour. It is considered to be the most impressive area in Chania following Elafonisi.

MATALA
It is a natural port in the Gulf of Messara. The location still preserves the charm and the character of a quite fishermen’s village, just as it was in the beginning of the 20th century and the relaxed hippie way of life during the 60s and 70s.
PLAKIAS
The beach is one of the largest ones in Crete and it satisfies at the same time all tastes, as its eastern side is preferred by those that enjoy nudism.
CHRISI
It is an island located 8 miles north of Ierapetra. A beach with fine white sand and deep blue water in the heart of Libyan Sea.
MAKRIS GIALOS
The beach is nearly a kilometer long, with golden sand, shallow water and has been awarded a blue flag. It is an organized beach with sun beds and umbrellas. Restaurants and cafeterias are found along it.
VOULISMA
The largest municipal beach of Kalo Chorio. An endless, clean sandy beach for the lovers of relaxation and entertainment. Surrounded by taverns, cafeterias and supermarkets, it is an ideal beach for water sports and fun on the sand.
At the western edge of Malia Golf, in an area of unique natural beauty that combines the magic touch of the sea and the magnificence of the Lasithi mountains nearby, lies Hersonissos, one of the oldest settlements of Crete.
Koutouloufari is only 29 km away from Heraklion and is found on the slope of Mount Pirgia, at a latitude of 100 meters.
